Formula Used
Top Area (A₁) = Top Length × Top Width
Bottom Area (A₂) = Bottom Length × Bottom Width
Concrete Volume = (Height ÷ 3) × (A₁ + A₂ + √(A₁ × A₂))
Example Calculation
Top Length = 1.5 m
Top Width = 1.5 m
Bottom Length = 3.0 m
Bottom Width = 3.0 m
Height = 0.6 m
Top Area = 2.25 m²
Bottom Area = 9.00 m²
Concrete Volume = (0.6 ÷ 3) × (2.25 + 9 + √(2.25 × 9))
Concrete Volume = 3.15 m³ (Approx.)
